Tell us about your pets: The wonderful dog I am pictured with is Gypsy (recently deceased).  She was the best fur friend anyone could have.  She was an angel with my children.  We still miss her very much.  I now have Doby, a large-eared mixed breed dog. Rico, a mexican redhead amazon parrot. Nubian diary goats:  Butterscotch, Mayday, Dancer, and Nutter Butter.

  7. Tell us about your pets: first 2 listed are pictured Waimakariri "Wai" female spayed whippet named after a river in New Zealand (1996). Rose, female Enlish Springer Spaniel currently enjoying agility training, and loves hurricanes & playing with big dogs (2004). Horse, neutered male tuxedo cat named after cartoon cat in New Zealand (1997). Moses, neutered male red classic tabby cat, the love bug of the group (1997). Door Stop, neutered male lynx point Siamese mix (manx) rescued from the "door stop" as someone dumped him there (1997).

 Assistant Practice Manager

  4. What you like best about working at C.A.H.: The group of employees at CAH is like a family. We have a lot of fun together. The level of care given to patients is exceptional, and I wouldn't work any where else.
  5. Favorite breed or type of animal: Labrador Retrievers
  6. Tell us about your pets: Charlie, black neutered male DSH cat & Franny, patched tabby spayed female DSH cat, both rescued as kittens in 2004 after Hurricane Frances. They were both bottle-fed, are very affectionate & love everyone. Gracie, pictured, spayed female yellow lab.

  8. Hobbies other interests outside of work: Water sports, boating, scuba diving, riding bikes with my twin daughters Emily & Molly, going to the beach, Home decor. Mostly, I spend time running my daughters to their school & sports activities :)

  7. Favorite breed or type of animal: cats, dogs, & raccoons

Tell us about your pets: (pictured with Simon, one of our hospital cats)  Emily, (2004) spayed female DLH rescued from North Shore Animal LeaguePita, (2007) male neutered tuxedo DSH rescued from the streets at 3 weeks of age.  Hootie, (2009) spayed female tabby rescued at 6 weeks of age from a tree on a horse farm. Binky (2004) female black & white Rex Rabbit.  Spike (12/2009) mocha colored guinea pig and Klaus (3/2009) tan guinea pig from rescue organization.

  10. Hobbies other interests outside of work: I also work at Florida Wildlife Hospital.  I enjoy working with all wildlife, but my specialty is with raccoons.  I like to read, paint ceramics, and travel.

  4. What you like best about working at C.A.H.: I love the animals and clients, but I could work many places and get that… what I really like about CAH is the staff and management; we are a family.

  6. Favorite breed or type of animal: The African Serval Cat! Domestically speaking I love all cats, but the maine coon is the best. I love Dobermans also!
  7. Tell us about your pets: Raja (Miss Girl), spayed female blue mackerel tabby DSH cat rescued from humane society (1996) She hates the others and lives in her own separate area. Javier(Pu'kin), pictured, neutered male brown tabby DLH - maine coon look rescued feral at 3 weeks old (1998). Cassadaga (Cassi), spayed female Torti DMH rescued feral at about 6 months old (1998). Asia (Biddie Girl), spayed female brown classic tabby DSH with short kinked tail rescued stray (2000) She is FIV positive and has to live separate from the others. Aaliyah (Baby Liyah), brought to CAH as a newborn unable to nurse due to brain trauma at birth, I bottle fed her and she eventually lost her head tilt and is pretty close to being a normal cat! (2001). Athena, Doberman rescued from Seminole County Animal Control (2001).  Thor, Doberman rescued from Orange County Animal Control (2008).  Nym, bearded dragon young adult received as Birthday gift in 2005.  We also have a rabbit, fish aquarium, and my son's beta fish & mice!

  7. Tell us about your pets: Raider (2003) spayed female Rottweiler.  Karsyn (1994) spayed female Aussie. Sylvester (2002) neutered male deaf 3-legged black & white DSH cat rescued from owner that could not care for his injuries.  Cassie (2001) spayed DLH blue/white.  2 bearded dragons, 2 rainbow geckos, 1 tortoise, 6 chickens, and many rescued iguanas including Elliott, pictured, male (1996) rescued in 2006 and part of the family.

  9. Hobbies other interests outside of work: I do Central Florida Iguana Rescue. I love to work in the yard, grow veggies & plants for the iguanas, and spend time with my 2 children Kyle & Shaye.
